Here’s proof that plaids and checks are truly timeless! Honestly, we’ve yet to find a garment or accessory that doesn’t look good in this classic pattern. The colourwork creates a double-thickness fabric which is extra warm and cosy, making this a perfect cover up on really chilly days. When working the vertical stripes in yarn B, use a separate length of yarn for each stripe. Alternatively, work the stitch in yarn A and Swiss darn the stripe when the piece is complete.
